Princess came to us by way of one of our Florida connections, Karen Conrey. Thanks Karen for this awesome female. She has as much natural desire of any dog I have ever bred or trained. She finished her Junior Hunter title at 8 mo. with little to no training, just natural ability. We have played with her in the show world and she has done very out of Puppy Class even winning Best in Sweepstakes at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Illinois Specialty July of '09.
Princess is a very quick zippy female. She can cover a lot of ground in a small amount of time. She can probably run big enough for walking field trials, but is very biddable and easy to handle. She is a very natural retriever and has already caught her first wild rabbit and killed and retrieved it for me.
She is going to begin a serious career in the ring to earn her Show Championship in 2010 and then back to the field to finish her Master Hunter title. Our plan is to Breed her to a Solid Black male we produced out of Wind River's Tag You're It SH x CH Honey Run's Shifting Gears MH; his name is Wind River's JK Black Tie Affair (Tux).
